SUPPORT WORKER

EXPERIENCE: I’m an experienced disability support worker who enjoys helping people build confidence, independence and skills in everyday life. I have supported people with Cerebral Palsy, intellectual disability, OCD, ASD, ADHD, arthritis, acquired brain injuries, bipolar disorder and psychosocial disability.

I currently work with a range of clients with different needs and goals. This includes supporting young people with life skills, job readiness, social connections and community access, as well as assisting adults with complex needs to maintain routines, self-care and independence at home and in the community.

I’m adaptable, approachable and able to pick up on emotional cues, which helps me tailor my support to each person. I’m passionate about creating a positive, safe environment where clients feel respected, supported and encouraged to work towards their own goals.

ABOUT ME: Hi I’m Leeia! I love camping with my family and throughout the years, I have had the opportunity to explore a variety of stunning locations across Australia. My passion for the great outdoors is matched only by my love for animals; I have a delightful puppy named Rascal who thrives on affection and enjoys being petted. I take pleasure in experiencing new culinary delights and engaging in hands-on activities that foster creativity and enjoyment. Above all, I prioritize having fun, as I believe that joy is an essential component of any experience. I am an outgoing and enthusiastic support worker dedicated to fostering growth and helping those I work with reach their full potential.
